Effective July 1, 2017: The Calendar year maximum reimbursement will increase from $500 to $600.

The per visit maximum for Chiropractor Services except when performed in a hospital, will increase to $25 per visit to a calendar year maximum of $600. (Only charges incurred after July 1, 2017 will be reimbursed on this basis). Services incurred prior to July 1, 2017 will be reimbursed to a maximum of $15 a visit for the first 15 visits and then $20 per visit each calendar year, to a maximum of $500.

Services of a registered licensed Chiropodist, Clinical Psychologist or Psychotherapist, Naturopath, Osteopath, Podiatrist, and, provided you submit a treatment plan from your physician which includes a clear diagnosis of the medical condition requiring treatment and details of the frequency and expected duration of treatment, services of a registered Physiotherapist, a registered Massage Therapist and a registered Speech Therapist. Periodic updates will be required to ensure ongoing medical need. The practitioner must be licensed in the province where the service is provided. There is a maximum of $600 per practitioner, in any calendar year, and one overall combined annual limit of $600 for the services of a Clinical Psychologist and/or Psychotherapist. Services performed in a hospital are not covered.

Speech aid equipment, when approved by a qualified speech therapist and authorized by the attending physician, for individuals who do not have oral communication ability to a lifetime maximum of $600.
